Vaccine antigens used to be found. They are now increasingly designed — stabilised in a chosen conformation, trimmed to the surface that matters, and presented in a way that produces the response you want rather than the response you happen to get.

That is a structural design problem, and it is one computational methods have changed substantially. We work on the antigen itself and on the protein supply that development work depends on.

A large share of vaccine work sits inside universities and research institutes. We collaborate on the design side and supply the proteins, reagents and consumables the programme runs on, which removes a common source of delay.

  • Do you work on candidates, or only on antigen design?

    Antigen and immunogen design is where our capability is strongest. We do not run immunology or clinical work — we design the protein and support the group that does.

  • Can you supply protein for a programme you are not designing for?

    Yes. Research-grade protein, reagents and consumables can be supplied independently of any design engagement.

  • Is this available to institutions outside Bahrain?

    Yes — we work across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC, and with international research partners.
